Kuku FM hiring QA Engineer (Manual & Automation)

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) to ensure the highest quality of our software products. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing both manual and automated test cases to identify bugs, glitches, and performance issues. You will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure seamless, user-friendly, and reliable software delivery. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand user stories, use cases, and business requirements to ensure complete test coverage.
• Perform testing on Mobile, Web, and API applications to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Develop and maintain BDD automation frameworks using tools such as Rest Assured, Cucumber, Selenium, and Postman.
• Design, write, and execute functional and regression test cases.
• Perform end-to-end validation of payment workflows, including Login → Cart → Checkout → Payment → Confirmation.
• Test multiple payment methods, including:
  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm)
  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay)
  • Net Banking
  • Wallets
• Conduct payment gateway testing using platforms such as Razorpay, PayU, and Stripe.
• Validate various payment scenarios, including:
  • Transaction success and failure cases
    • Timeout and retry mechanisms
    • Refunds and reversals
    • Duplicate transactions

• Perform backend validation using server logs and database checks.
• Assist developers in reproducing issues and support debugging efforts.
• Analyze test results, including database impacts, defects, and usability concerns.
• Ensure risk-based testing and maintain traceability matrices for complete test coverage.
• Participate in requirement and design reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ensure all QA processes, documentation, and testing standards are properly followed.

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
• Strong experience in Manual Testing across Mobile, Web, and API applications
• Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle
• Hands-on experience in writing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
• Experience in the Payment Testing / Fintech domain is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
