Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test solutions for web and API-based applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on automation experience, strong QA fundamentals, and the ability to collaborate closely with application and DevOps teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright (Java and/or TypeScript).
- Create and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend validations.
- Perform API testing using tools such as RestAssured, Karate, SoapUI, or equivalent.
- Validate data through database testing and support Kafka/message-queue testing where applicable.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Harness, or similar EPLX platforms.
Expertise You’ll Bring:
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (Java and/or TypeScript).
- Solid automation background using Selenium, RestAssured, Karate, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of Java, OOP concepts, and automation design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with REST API testing and HTTP protocols.
- Experience with test management tools such as Octane, ALM, JIRA.
