Allegion India is seeking a highly motivated, software engineer to join a development team responsible for building software applications targeted at extending security technology capabilities. As a member of a team, you will play an important role in the definition and development of applications that are leveraged extensively throughout the Allegion web, mobile and desktop product portfolios. Responsibilities:
- Develop the domain and product knowledge quickly
- Responsible for coding, testing, debugging, evaluating, and documenting application development on desktop, web based and mobile platforms using various technologies.
- Work closely with product teams and product management to understand requirements and translate them to elegant implementation.
- Interfacing with overseas counterparts frequently to resolve issues and status updates.
Requirements:
- Strong programming abilities in C# or Java
- Strong in OOP concepts
- Strong in Database (SQL) concepts
- Strong knowledge of data structures, multithreading concepts.
- Should possess strong analytical and communication skills
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Must demonstrate flexibility for work hours to meet important customer deliverables and project deadlines
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of ASP.net, MVC
- Knowledge of Android development/ IOS
