Description for Test Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Software Tester to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring that all functionality is operating as expected. The ideal candidate will have skills of manual and automated testing, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring software quality.
We’re a collaborative bunch, so you’ll contribute to all phases of the SDLC, from planning, development, testing and release
You will work closely with Scrum teams to deliver products on time with quality
You’ll also coordinate with the Architect’s to understand and maintain an in-depth understanding of the current and upcoming requirements for proposed releases
We work in a fast-moving agile set-up, so expect to pitch in with other responsibilities from time to time
How you will do it
Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve software defects.
Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure consistent test coverage.
Report and track bugs using test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
Conduct regression testing to verify fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets business requirements.
