About the job:
Conduct detailed manual testing of web and mobile applications, ensuring that all functionality, usability, and performance criteria are met.
Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
Execute test cases to verify software functionality across different platforms, browsers, and devices.
Identify, document, and report defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Track issues through to resolution, providing detailed information to the development team.
Perform regression testing to ensure that previously developed and tested software still works after changes or updates.
Conduct thorough functional testing of software applications to ensure all features work as expected.
Ensure that software integrates correctly with other systems, databases, and services by performing integration testing.
Support UAT by verifying that the system meets the business requirements and that the product is ready for deployment.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, business logic, and technical specifications.
Record and track testing results, providing regular feedback to development teams, and contributing to reports for stakeholders.
Suggest process improvements to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the QA process.
Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases or areas not fully covered by test cases.
Ensure the test environments are set up correctly, and software builds are validated before testing.
Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) is a plus.
Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) to aid in understanding the development cycle.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps process

About you:
2+ years of experience in manual software testing in an enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly in Agile or Scrum environments.
Solid experience in creating detailed test cases, test plans, and executing them manually.
Proficient in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
Strong understanding of functional, non-functional, and regression testing techniques.
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot discrepancies between expected and actual results.
Good understanding of SQL for validating data and performing database testing.
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple test cases or projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to report issues clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
