Responsibilities and Duties:
Partnering with cloud SMEs to write, conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality.
Creating the required accompanying technical documentation.
Add features to the existing frameworks.
Participate in technical discussions within engineering group in all phases of the SDLC: review requirements, produce design documents, participate in peer reviews, produce test plans, support QA team.
Qualifications:
Familiar with Java, Python, C.
Familiar with databases such as MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
Familiar with Linux and Windows OS.
Understanding Unit Testing principles.
Must understand basic computer programming concepts, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
Familiar with source control applications such as GIT.
Detail oriented.
Strong communication skills and excellent telephone presence.
Bachelor’s in computer science / information technology / Electronics & communication / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunications. Should have graduated in 2024/ 2025.

Description for Graduate Trainee
Join the Calix Web Engineering team as a Front-End Intern and contribute to building intuitive, performant digital experiences for Calix.com and MyCalix, enterprise-grade platforms powered by Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) on Adobe Cloud Service. These platforms integrate with Salesforce and Commerce Store, offering hands-on exposure to real-world development within a global web ecosystem.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop responsive, component-based UI using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React tailored for AEM-powered websites.
Collaborate with designers and product teams to build user-centric experiences.
Integrate front-end features with APIs and data sources from Salesforce and Commerce systems.
Perform cross-browser testing and ensure accessibility compliance.
Implement and validate analytics tracking and coordinate with data/analytics teams to ensure accurate data capture. (added advantage)
Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint deliverables, and code reviews.
Document AEM component behavior and authoring guidelines for reusability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science / IT / related discipline, graduating in 2024/2025.
Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles.
Exposure to React.js or any modern front-end frameworks.
Familiarity with Git and CMS platforms — exposure to AEM or tools like Liferay, Contentful, Drupal, WordPress is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Available to work full-time during the internship
