Job Description

Join our dynamic NSP team as a Software Test Engineer, where you’ll collaborate with designers and product managers to enhance the Nokia Network Management platform for carrier-grade IP networks, with a strong focus on quality. In this role, you’ll drive test automation using frameworks like Robot, Selenium, and Cypress, while expanding your expertise in network technologies such as IP/MPLS, GNMI, and NETCONF/YANG. You’ll work alongside skilled engineers, solving complex challenges and contributing to cutting-edge solutions. Be part of a culture that fosters collaboration, innovation, and continuous growth.

How you will contribute and what you will learn
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for functional, system, and regression testing.
Review and validate test plans, test procedures, and testing infrastructure to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Develop and maintain robust automated test scripts using JavaScript and/or Python to ensure efficient and scalable testing.
Integrate automated test suites into the continuous integration and regression testing infrastructure.
Collaborate with development teams to align testing strategies with real-world customer use cases and deployments.
Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams for resolution.
Contribute to improving overall test coverage, quality processes, and QA best practices.
Work alongside the product documentation team to create and maintain user-facing documentation and technical content.

Key Skills and Experience
Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
Hands on experience in python, JavaScript
Working experience in automation frameworks like Selenium/Cypress/Robot
Knowledge of Linux, Docker/Kubernetes
Strong interpersonal, written and vermal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team,

It would be nice if you also had:
Experience in EMS/NMS products
Knowledge of Network Management protocols like SNMP, GNMI, NETCONF/YANG and other networking technologies like IP/MPLS.
