Join a backend engineering team building JVM-based microservices that process massive volumes of telemetry data. You’ll contribute to production systems, learn best practices for reliability and performance, and develop the skills to grow into a senior engineer.

What you’ll do
- Implement and maintain backend services in Java and/or Kotlin, writing clean, testable,well-documented code.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and iterative delivery with your team.
- Build and enhance APIs, data pipelines, and service integrations; contribute to CI/CD and automated testing.
- Instrument services with metrics, logs, and traces; help define and monitor SLIs/SLOs.
- Troubleshoot production issues with support from senior engineers and participate in a gradual on-call rotation as you gain experience.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, site reliability engineers, and other teams to deliver customer value.
What you bring
- Proficiency in Java (and/or Kotlin) and solid understanding of core CS fundamentals: data
- structures, algorithms, concurrency basics, and networking.
- Experience building backend services and APIs, preferably in a microservices environment.
- Familiarity with asynchronous programming and event-driven patterns.
- Understanding of testing practices (unit, integration) and CI/CD workflows.
- Exposure to containers and Kubernetes, and to cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Growth mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and clear communication; proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- Exposure to Kafka or other streaming technologies, and to reactive frameworks (Project
- Reactor, RxJava, Kotlin coroutines).
- Experience with one or more data stores (e.g., PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Redis).Familiarity with OpenTelemetry or other observability tooling.
- Contributions to open-source projects or strong portfolio projects.
