An ideal candidate would thrive in a multi-faceted role. Key responsibilities include designing, prototyping, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications on the Akamai Cloud platform
As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for:
Designing and developing of applications across various programming environments such as Scala, Python, GO
Deploying and overseeing applications in both public and private cloud environments
Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to develop software applications, test plans, and strategies
Experiencing of leading a project from concept to productization
Leading the team technically on SDLC best practices with focus on automation

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field & 2+ years of relevant experience.
Demonstrate experience designing, developing, or maintaining multi-tier distributed application architectures including cloud-native, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud.
Have the knowledge of CNCF landscape to identify optimal solutions for various challenges
Be a good team player that enjoys collaborating and solving problems with others
Demonstrate experience collaborating with stakeholders to identify and document compliance workflow and operational requirements
Able to communicate effectively, both in written and verbal form
