Description for QA Engineer
QA Engineer with hands on experience in Mobile Application Testing (Manual, Automation) for Android, iOS platforms. The Candidate should have good experience in Mobile Automation Testing using open source automation tool – Appium/Selenium with Python/Java as programming language. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing test creation, test execution, defect tracking and mobile test automation. The candidate should possess a strong background in software testing (Mobile Apps) and quality assurance. The position is designed for those who thrive in a hybrid work environment and are excited to tackle complex infrastructure challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Mobile Application Testing (Manual, Automation) for Android, iOS platforms
Perform functional and non-functional testing focused on IOT devices, software, hardware, firmware and with MS Azure Cloud.
Test creation and execution of Smoke Tests, Sanity Tests, Regression Tests for IoT products
Use Test Management and Defect Management Tool- JIRA for Tests and defect creation
Develop automated test scripts for Android and iOS platform using Appium with Python/Java as programming language
Work with other test engineers to coordinate sub-system test requirements, plans, and best practices
Work with DevOps team to implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Testing(CI/CT) of Functional Tests and API Tests
Have awareness of current and future state of software testing best practices
Work in org initiatives like IOT lab, Experience center
Maintain and expand existing IOT infrastructure

Qualifications:
BE/BTech/MCA in Software Engineering
3+ Years
3-6 years as a Software QA
Skills:
Mobile Application Testing (Manual, Automation) for Android, iOS applications
Experience in Mobile App Testing, IoT Devices, MS Azure Cloud or similar solutions
Experience in developing automated testing solutions using Appium, PyTest, Python, GitHub or any other similar framework
Experience in Test Management and Defect Management Tool- JIRA
Experience with scripting languages: Python, JAVA
Experience working with version control and issue tracking systems such as the Atlassian tool chain (Jira, Bitbucket, etc.), Git, GitHub, or similar tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) including the ability to explain and convey technical concepts
Proven record utilizing software best practices and adapting to emerging technology trends and methodologies
Strong ability to drive for results and take initiative even when requirements may be vague or undefined
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with various cultures across the globe
