Description for QA Automation Engineer
We are looking for experienced Software QA Engineers to join our team, specializing in networking and security environments. The ideal candidates will play a critical role in manual test validation, performance testing and automation of our security and cloud-based solutions.
Networking & Security:
Strong understanding of the OSI model and networking protocols:
TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, HTTP, DNS, VLANs.
SAML , SNMP, GRE , IPSEC, Syslog, MDM, SSH
Experience configuring security devices, including:
Firewalls, VPNs, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDPs), switches, and routers.
Proficient in Data Networking ( L2 / L3 , Switching , routing , WLAN’s)
Knowledge of security protocols and penetration testing (a plus).
Experience with RADIUS, AAA, and NAC (Network Access Control).
Hands on experience in configuring and testing with Active Directory , LDAP and other Auth sources
Knowledge and Skills:

Skills Required:
Total ~ 3-5 years as a Software QA Engineer in a networking/security environment.
Virtualization & Cloud Technologies:
Strong hands-on experience with VMware, KVM, Hyper-V.
Experience testing Security/Cloud products (AWS, Azure).
Knowledge/Experience in testing applications for Public Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Cloud)
Exposure to container-based technologies and Kubernetes
System Testing & Performance:
System scale and/or solution-level testing experience.
Strong command of Linux CLI commands and Bash scripting.
System load and performance testing expertise.
Experience with load/performance test systems such as Breaking Point and Spirent.
Test Automation & Scripting:
Proficiency in Test automation development using Python, Selenium
Experience in test script development for automated validation.
This role requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in network security, cloud products, automation, and performance testing.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
