Job Description
Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.
Level Summary
A skilled engineer that completes tasks in a resourceful & effective way. Responsible for the weekly planning and delivery of technical services. Learns to use/apply professional concepts or develops professional expertise, interpreting and using company policies and practices to resolve issues on a variety of problems in own discipline/specialist area. Collaboratively works on problems where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises independent judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions that may significantly impact business operations. Roles & Responsibilities
- May lead and/or coordinate some team efforts; builds productive internal/external working relationships.
- Accomplishes operational and/or functional objectives that enable successful execution of department goals; achieves KPIs and action plans.
- With general direction, completes engineering activities and tasks for a specific architecture or technology.
- Assists in new product development including design, analysis, and testing.
- Receives technical requirements and guidance from senior technical staff to successfully execute engineering work assignments.
- Completes technical tasks and deliverables of moderate scope within set timeline.
- Follows technical documentation and standardized processes and procedures.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
