Job Description
We’re looking for a Software Engineer in Test to join our engineering team at Headout. You’ll work within one of our product pods, ensuring features are shipped with quality, reliability, and speed. This role is hands-on – you’ll write and execute test cases, build automation, and help troubleshoot production issues. What Skills & Experience You Need
- 1–3 years of experience in automation testing for web, mobile, or backend systems.
- Proficiency with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium, RestAssured).
- Experience writing clean, modular code for test automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Unix systems.
- Solid grounding in computer science fundamentals and OOP concepts.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to ambiguity.
- Good understanding of Java.
Nice to Have
- Basic understanding of Docker/Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience in leveraging AI tools
