Job Description

Provides basic technical and functional support and assistance to users in order to restore services and ensure the smooth operation of digital solutions. This includes responding to user inquiries, troubleshooting technical and functional issues, and applying workarounds to restore service. They also assist in fixing data in databases and validating solutions before deployment to production. The Support Engineer operates under supervision and follows established processes and guidelines to resolve incidents and fulfill service requests. He/she monitors and supervises the production status with user-centric mindset and proactivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for global users across various time zones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on issue resolution, system improvements, and project initiatives.
  • Analyze problems using strong logical and analytical skills.
  • Work on assigned tasks involving programming, SQL, system monitoring, or automation.
  • Maintain documentation, follow standard procedures, and ensure timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Participate in shift-based work schedules to support business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, B.Sc. IT, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of programming fundamentals with hands-on experience in at least one programming language:
  • C, C++, Java, Python, or similar.
  • Good exposure to SQL including queries, joins, functions, and basic database concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
  • Strong logical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts to support global operations.

Preferred / Added Advantage

  • Experience working in Linux or basic understanding of Linux commands.
  • Prior exposure to cross‑functional or global team environments (internships, academic projects, etc.).
