Job Description
We are looking for SW Test engineers who wish to be a part of developing and evolving the current and next generation of routers that form the core of anything internet. These routers are at the heart of Nokia’s IP product offerings, from data centers (including AI fabrics), to providing strong, resilient low latency and dependable IP backhaul for service providers and mission critical networks. Your responsibilities
Own software features end to end and ensure their quality is robust across products and platforms
Specialize in datacenter and AI networks
Write modular, lean, and efficient automation code including libraries and infrastructure
Work closely with product management and software developers to meet customer requirements
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 3–8 years of relevant experience in networking and software automation.
- Exposure to any of the below domains:
- Layer-2 switching and layer-3 routing
- Routing protocols (ospf, isis, bgp)
- Multicast (pim, igmp)
- Segment Routing
- Mpls (ldp, rsvp-te)
- Evpns with vxlan, mpls, sr-te underlays
- QoS (policers, schedulers, shapers)
- Automation experience in python, golang or any programming language
- Experience in virtualized environments such as kvm, dockers, and Kubernetes
- Contribution to SONiC test infrastructure and automation frameworks
- Good communication skills to work with different engineering teams
- Proven aptitude for methodical problem solving, good communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a close-knit team.
