Associate Software Engineer

Job Description

Key responsibilities

• Apply development and configuration skills to deployment related activities and resolve technical issues.
• Help with release processes for the progression of code in the development, test, and production environments.
• Help with maintaining/updating tickets and project activities on ESM and VSTS as required.
• Contribute on application testing activities.
• Understand and support integrations with other applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology/ computer science or related fields.
• Good knowledge in Object Oriented Programming concepts
• Exposure and knowledge of at least one of the technologies JAVA / Python / C# or VB .NET.
• Exposure to JavaScript with latest ECMAScript standards. Good to have knowledge on HTML/JavaScript Web Components.
• Exposure to any JavaScript framework like Angular, React etc.
• Basic understanding of application-level implementation of GenAI use cases (such as chatbots, content generation, automation)
• Exposure to software testing & quality assurance principles.
• Basic understanding of Reports and Dashboards.
• Good to have: Basic understanding of Linux servers.
• Good to have: Basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Basic understanding on RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL), data queries and optimization techniques (Good to have).
• Integration knowledge in SOAP and REST based web services
• Should have basic understanding on Business Process Flow, UI design and data migration.
• Basic understanding of IDE like Visual Studio, VS Code, Azure DevOps etc.
• Basic understanding of scrum practices.
• Good to have: Basic understanding of SAAS platforms like Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, SAP etc. Would be an added advantage.
