Job overview and responsibilities
This role is responsible for delivering end to end analytical results as a part of the team as well as in individual capacity. The role requires strategic thinking, strong work ethics and passion for data and analytics with the willingness to dig deep into details. - Analyze operational/commercial performance of United’s schedule and make recommendations to improve efficacy/margins
- Help develop strategic plans for maximizing long term margin potential for the network
- Analyze fleet deployment to maximize revenue and minimize costs
- Ensure the short-term schedule is operable
- Help the team continuously develop and demonstrate improved analysis methodologies
- Create and develop presentations for United leadership and external stakeholders
- Perform ad-hoc analyses on the United Airlines route network and fleet
- Proactively experiments with new tools, including emerging or role-specific AI solutions, while being aware of their practical limitations, including accuracy, data confidentiality/privacy, bias, and the need for human judgment

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 0-1 year
- Proven comfort and an intellectual curiosity for working on different business problems in a data driven manner
- Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Engineering preferred
- Hands on experience in using Excel and PowerPoint preferred
- Be proficient in using database querying tools and able to write complex queries and procedures using Teradata SQL and/or HIVE/ Spark.
- Knowledge of Python is a plus
