Description for Software Development Engineer
As a Backend Developer at LambdaTest, you’ll develop and maintain backend services that power our cloud platform using technologies like Golang, Python, AWS/GCP, and Kubernetes. You’ll work on scalable, efficient systems, optimizing performance and solving complex technical challenges.
What You’ll Do:
Build and maintain backend services using Golang or Python
Optimize SQL operations and ensure database integrity
Implement data structures, algorithms, and services like Kafka
Troubleshoot and debug issues using Linux/Unix
Manage AWS/GCP infrastructure, including EKS
Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and take ownership of system performance.

What You Should Have:
Experience: 0-1 years in Golang or Python backend development
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or ECE would be preferred (Tier-1 college only)
SQL Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SQL and database management
Linux Expertise: Deep understanding of Linux/Unix and command proficiency
Cloud & Kubernetes: Experience with AWS/GCP and EKS
CI/CD Knowledge: Familiarity with building and managing CI/CD pipelines
Scripting Skills: Proficiency in writing scripts (multi-language is a plus)
Debugging: Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
