Description for Software Engineer
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Services Organization to support, develop, and maintain customer-specific extensions and integrations for the Changepoint product line. This role focuses on solving real-world customer challenges—not core product development.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team, and while autonomy is needed due to time zone differences, strong support is always available. The role involves direct customer interaction via Salesforce and virtual meetings to gather requirements, troubleshoot, resolve issues, and deliver tailored solutions.

What You’ll Do
Develop, maintain, and upgrade custom product extensions and integrations for the Changepoint platform.
Collaborate with business analysts and customers to clarify requirements and deliver robust, scalable custom solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve support cases related to existing customer customizations.
Communicate with customers through Salesforce and virtual meetings to provide updates, gather additional information, and resolve issues.
Work independently on tickets or assigned tasks, balancing quality and responsiveness.
Adapt to unique and sometimes ambiguous customer environments and technical implementations.
Participate in daily team stand-ups and maintain strong communication with global peers.
What You’ll Bring
Strong experience with ASP, ASP.NET (C# and VB.NET), and SQL – required.
Experience with Web Services, including SOAP and REST APIs.
Experience with legacy enterprise applications and a passion for maintaining mission-critical systems.
Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to “read between the lines” and intuit customer needs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience working in a customer-facing role or in a services/consulting environment.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a globally distributed team environment.
Experience with integration development (e.g., Microsoft Project, Power BI, ERP systems) is a plus.
