Description for Quality Assurance Engineer
We are seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the quality of slice’s products and services. You will perform Functional/end to end testing of mobile apps, web interfaces, and backend systems, identifying defects, product journey and collaborating with developers to maintain high-quality standards.
What You will do
Execute functional and non-functional testing on mobile apps, web interfaces, and backend systems.
Design and execute detailed test cases based on requirements.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA.
Collaborate with developers to improve software quality and testing processes.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage and report test results clearly.
Contribute to test planning and suggest improvements to enhance quality.

What you will need
1 – 4 years of experience working as a Quality Engineer.
Understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, integration, regression).
Hands-on experience in functional testing and test case design.
Hands-on experience in debugging tools like Charles, Wireshark, Fiddler
Strong attention to detail and clear documentation skills.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
Ability to work well in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
Basic programming knowledge (JavaScript, Python, or Java) is a plus.
Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with test management tools like TestLink or Zephyr is a plus.
Experience with any AI tool is a plus
Familiarity with performance testing tools like Postman or JMeter is a plus.
