Job Description

As a Software Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of software architecture design and gain exposure to application development. In this role, you will design embedded software and development tools that will be used to test products, write code that tells chips how to operate in revolutionary new ways, and work closely with business partners and customers, as well as TI’s marketing, systems and applications engineering teams, to collaborate and solve business problems.

Depending on which software engineering function you work in, you will gain experience in the following:

  • Foundational software development processes and life-cycle
  • Embedded software tools including industry best practices
  • Essentials for real-time embedded systems design and techniques to write and debug code
  • TI device architecture
  • Software IP licensing and Open Source
  • Software Development Kits (SDKs)
  • EP software and hardware products
  • Building relationships with designers, developers and the sales organization
  • Developing and deploying training collateral, documentation, application demos and examples
  • External customer engagement (DIN, DWIN) lifecycle

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
