Description for Software Intern
This is a full-time software intern role at NeoScript. As a software intern, you will be involved in day-to-day tasks related to software development, programming, databases, software design, and testing. This is a hybrid role, based in Bengaluru with flexibility for some remote work.
Responsibilities:
Participate in day-to-day software development tasks, including coding, testing, and debugging.
Collaborate with the development team to design and implement software solutions.
Gain hands-on experience in programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
Contribute to the design and development of databases to support software applications.
Assist in the testing phase of software development, ensuring quality and reliability.
Learn and apply problem-solving techniques to address technical challenges.
Work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Communicate effectively with team members through written and verbal channels.
Utilize software development best practices and methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and development.
Qualifications:
Software Development, Programming, and Software Design skills
Knowledge of JavaScript, React, Node JS is preferred.
Knowledge of databases and testing
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Prior internship or project experience in software development is preferred
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
