We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our development team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about quality assurance, eager to work closely with developers, and interested in learning automation testing. As a QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring our software products meet high-quality standards through manual and automated testing.

What you ll do
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand feature requirements and create test plans.
Perform manual testing to validate user stories and ensure proper functionality before release.
Assist in writing automation tests to improve test coverage and reduce regression issues.
Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar to validate backend functionality.
Identify, document, and track bugs, working with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Learn and apply testing frameworks and best practices to improve software quality.
What you ll need
2+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
Knowledge of manual testing techniques and an interest in learning test automation.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
Familiarity with any programming or scripting language (Python, Java, or JavaScript preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with developers.
