Job Description
As an SDET, you will be responsible for testing and automating various features of Trellix’s security products, including Email Security (EX), Malware Analysis (AX), and File Protect (FX).
About the role:
- Analysing the Requirements
- Participating in preparing Test Plans
- Preparing Test Data’s and Test Environment to execute the test cases
- Executing the Test Cases and Raising defect giving mandatory information of the defect to developers
- Build effective and maintainable automation scripts
- Executing the automation regression release on release and raising defects if any
- Good understanding of Test process
- Status Reporting in timely manner and highlighting any risks/issues
- Work effectively with senior engineers within the Business Unit
- Build effective and maintainable automation scripts
About you:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of experience in QA and automation using Python, Selenium, Restful API, Playwright)
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience in working on Unix/Linux environment.
- Familiarity with virtualised environments like Docker, AWS, Azure
- Passion for quality with customer focus
- Strong oral and written communication skills are a must
