Job Description
The person in this position is responsible for the quality and proper functionality of Light & Wonder systems, games and products. and ensure compliance with both internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years’ experience in Software Testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on technical and functional specifications.
- Own end-to-end testing of assigned products and features, including regression, system, integration, and performance testing.
- Ensure product compliance with all technical and regulatory standards.
- Analyze test outcomes to identify root causes of defects and recommend effective, data-driven solutions to prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with development, product, and external certification bodies to triage and resolve issues
- Reproduce and troubleshoot field-reported bugs.
- Test and validate hardware/firmware
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of test activities, test data, and outcomes
- Deliver regular and ad-hoc quality reports and risk assessments
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Hands-on experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, )
- Experience with any test automation tools is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient skills in MS Word and Excel.
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Working knowledge of communication protocols (EX: SAS or ASP or G2S or QCOM) is a plus.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in programming languages, scripting, test management tools and defect management tools will be preferred.
- Ability to work well in a dynamic environment with a diversity of professional people.
- Knowledge with prompt engineering is a plus
