Job Description
We are looking for a SW QA Engineer
You will report to the Director of System Integration & QA, Broadband business unit.
What you will be doing:
- Test multidisciplinary Embedded Systems (SW/HW).
- Responsibility for features’ testing starting from integration till end-to-end functional testing.
- Define clear test plans that cover all use cases and scenarios.
- Execute testing to verify functional behavior of the products and to ensure their quality in an Agile environment.
- Work in scrum team in agile mode.
- Execute automatic tests using existing framework and analyze the results.
- Provide requirements for automatic tests.
What you will need to succeed:
- 2-3 years of experience in manual testing of an Embedded System (HW/SW)
- Experience in QA methodologies
- Linux knowledge
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or a similar field, or an equivalent experience
- Networking knowledge (Layer 3) – advantage
- Knowledge of RF testing equipment, traffic generators, network sniffer – advantage
- Python or other scripting knowledge, experience in test scripts execution – advantage
- DOCSIS / PON (Passive Optical Network) knowledge – advantage
- Agile working methods – advantage
